Custom Plant shelter

Polyethylene grow tubes with an anti-aging formula — shipped flat to cut your freight cost.

Polyethylene grow tubes with an anti-aging formula, built to last 4+ years in the field.

Crafted from premium polyethylene with an anti-aging formula, these grow tubes are built to last 4+ years in the field. They ship flat for significant shipping savings—more tubes, less freight.

A plant shelter protects a young vine or tree through its first seasons, and it is bought by the thousand rather than the piece — so how the tube is made and how it is packed both show up directly in the landed cost.

Our tubes ship flat, which means far more tubes per container and less freight on every order. They are produced in our own factory in Jinhua, China, to the dimensions and field life your programme needs.

What you can specify

Material and formulation
Polyethylene with an anti-aging formula, specified for the number of seasons the tube has to survive in your climate.
Diameter and height
Produced to the shelter size your planting method uses, and confirmed with you in writing before production.
Wall thickness
Selected for the field life and the handling conditions you describe rather than fixed at one catalogue grade.
Ventilation and form
Vent and closure options are set to the airflow your crop needs — tell us the growing conditions and we will confirm the form with you.
Colour
Produced against your own colour reference so the tube matches your range and your branding.
Packing
Supplied flat, bundled for maximum container utilization, or packed to your own artwork, label and barcode requirements.
Branding
Your brand on the product, the bundle or the packaging — send your artwork and we will confirm what is feasible.

Nothing on this page is a fixed catalogue size. Send your requirement and the specification is confirmed with you in writing before production starts.

Made under one roof

Wire coating, metal forming and export packing all happen in our own factory in Jinhua, Zhejiang — nothing is outsourced. Because we run the coating and forming lines ourselves, we can adjust a specification for a single order instead of forcing you into a catalogue size.

That is the difference between buying plant shelter and buying plant shelter made for your vineyard: the specification is yours, and the people who make it are the people who answer your questions.

How your order is specified

  1. Send your requirement — A drawing, a physical sample, or a written description of how the part will be used in the field.
  2. We confirm the specification in writing — Material, coating, dimensions, length and packing — agreed with you, then quoted against that specification rather than a catalogue size.
  3. A sample for your approval — For custom orders a sample is produced and sent for your approval before mass production runs. Production only starts once you confirm it matches what you need.
  4. Production on our own lines — Coating, forming and assembly run in-house, with checks through each stage.
  5. Inspection, packing and shipping — Final inspection and photographs before packing, export packing built around the container, then freight coordinated to your port.

Lead time is confirmed with your quotation, once the specification and order quantity are fixed. We do not quote a blanket lead time, because it depends on the specification — a bespoke coating or a new forming die takes longer than a repeat order.

Where it is used

  • New vineyard plantings where young vines need protection
  • Orchard and nursery establishment programmes
  • Large agricultural projects buying by the container
  • Distributor ranges where freight cost per tube decides the order

Quality control and packing

Incoming material is checked before production, with in-process checks during coating and forming. Before packing, every order goes through a final inspection and we share photographs with you so you can see the goods before they leave the factory.

Export packing is built around the container — coil, reel, carton, bundle or pallet options, packed to suit your container loading and the way your warehouse handles goods on arrival. Packing can be plain export standard, or produced to your own artwork, label and barcode requirements.

Talk to the factory, not a middleman

You deal directly with the people who make it. Every enquiry is answered personally — not by a call centre, and not by a trading desk.

If an issue arises after delivery, we handle it with you directly: there is no third party in between. Send your drawing, sample or specification and we will come back with a quotation and a production plan.

The factory behind your supply

SYF Factory is a family-run manufacturer in Jinhua, Zhejiang, supplying wire products and vineyard supplies to buyers around the world — from vineyard distributors to European retail chains, including Action.

They choose us for the same reason: consistent quality, honest pricing, and a factory that answers its own phone.

Common questions about custom orders

Can you manufacture to our drawing or sample?
Yes. Send us a drawing, a physical sample or even a written description of how the part will be used in the field. We review it, confirm what we can produce, and come back to you with a quotation and a production plan against your own specification rather than a catalogue size.
What is your minimum order quantity?
Our minimum order quantity is set by the specification, not by a fixed rule. A custom dimension, a special coating or bespoke packing changes the economical run length, so we confirm the MOQ together with your quotation — and we will always tell you which part of your requirement is driving it.
How is lead time determined for a custom order?
Lead time is confirmed with your quotation, once the specification and order quantity are fixed. It depends on what has to be produced specifically for you — a bespoke coating or a new forming die takes longer than a repeat order — so we quote a lead time against your actual specification rather than a blanket number that may not apply to your order.
Can you send a sample before mass production?
Yes. For custom orders we produce a sample for your approval before mass production. You check it, and production only starts once you confirm it matches what you need. Sample cost and timing are confirmed when you order.
Do you provide inspection reports and photos before shipment?
Yes. Every order goes through a final inspection before packing, and we share photographs with you so you can see the goods before they leave the factory. Inspection documentation can be provided on request.
